hey everyone!!!
sorry that it has been forever since i have updated this, i know you're all waiting anxiously :)
well, we are now in maine, and getting settled into our new home. we've been here a few weeks, in training and all that jazz, but for this christmas weekend we are on our own. well, we have one kid with us too, one went home, and the other is arriving after christmas.
so, it has been interesting and challenging so far, but we're pretty excited about everything. oh, for those of you who don't know, we are working as a 'therapeutic foster couple' in an organization for people with mental illness. the kids are off school right now, so we are basically on 24 hours a day. fun stuff.
anyway, it is good, but we are missing everyone like crazy, especially at christmas, i would really like to be home for a visit right now!!!
naomi and matt are stopping by today for a little bit on their way home from ohio and new york city, so that will be good.

Thanks for the update i have been wondering how you guys have been. Getting into a new place is exciting and wish you all the best with yuor new place and jobs.
Martin and i moved a tthe end of nov to Woodstock , NB which isn't far from maine. Which leads me to ask what part of Maine are you in?

Glad to hear you are enjoying your new place in the States. It always takes a little while to feel "at home." We missed you this year....well I guess it has been awhile since we were all home for Christmas (well me anyway!). We didn't even get to see Omi and Matt.....work. Anyway hope to hear from you soon.
