bummer.

i just talked to the guy again, about the daycamp job. he just found out that we have to be returning students. he wanted to hire me, and tried to get his bosses to let me, but it was a no-go.
so now i have nothing, no prospects, no maybes, and i don't even know where to apply. either myself or naomi or emily have applied to everything in halifax, and nothing is biting.
happy birthday to me.

Happy Birthday Gemma,
God's just waiting to surprise you with something great! Unfortunately, sometimes it's hard to wait till the 11th hour.
Hope you are encouraged today.

Keep on the job hunt and don't get stressed out, your hard work will provide something soon. You and yours sisters are in our prayers. Ditto on the shaving and leaving the little hairs in the sink, icky!

God will keep his promise. He said he has plans for you - it may not be what you expected, but it's his plan. And anything from Him, will be nothing short of amazing. Keep your chin up! Something will happen. It's not a matter of IF it will happen, it's just a matter of WHEN it will.

Of course...that would mean that I need to get a new job working outside the home...

On second thought..nevermind. LOL

Good luck with the job hunt. Speaking of which, maybe Heather Rice might want you to be her Nanny for her 2 year old so she can take him out of daycare. LOL

Try www.jobbank.gc.ca for a job...you can search by province and area (so for you it'd be HRM) and they usually post TONS of jobs!
good luck!
